In the picture they look like High Speed Steel (HSS) but when i receive them they are carbide which don't get me wrong isn't a terrible thing they cut great and leave little to no burs which is fantastic, but the wenxing machine spins WAY too slow for the use of carbide as a cutter. as a result they wear excessively and round out really easy.
