SouthOrd Stainless Steel Tubular Lock Picks allow adjustment of picking needle pressure, giving them the versatility to pick even tubular locks with higher spring pressures. Each of our tubular lock master keys has a comfortable, slip resistant rubber handle and is available in seven, eight, or ten pin configurations (seven and eight pin configurations available as a set).

IMPROVED! The 7-pin and 8-pin adjustable tubular manipulation picks in the TPXA-78 include a solid, removable/replaceable guide pin.  Though a guide pin is unnecessary for picking tubular locks, it assists picking by lining up the pick in the lock effectively.  The new solid guide pin can be removed by the user for use in tubular locks that do not have the corresponding notch cut in the core, where normally a guide pin would fit.  And, the new solid guide pin can be replaced by the user, should replacing the pin become necessary (replacement parts sold separately).

** The IMPROVED! adjustable tubular manipulation picks TPXA-78 includes one TPXA-7 and one TPXA-8 tubular lock pick. **

These tubular picks are very easy to use. You don't ever want to manhandle these as they could be easily damaged. I purchased a 7 pin tubular lock that was made by a famous security company and had it open in less than 5 minutes. A light touch and light downward pressure while using very little turning force is all you need. In fact, I picked it with two fingers on the very end of the handle. That is how well it works. You definetly need a full set of these in your tool box. (Posted on 10/4/2014)
