I bought two so I could make spares for our 2000 Explorer and '98 Expedition. After a bad experience with some Chinese knockoffs I bought off A*****, these programmed the first time with Forscan software and an OBDLink EX scan tool. Since each vehicle came with only one key, I had to do a delete all keys and reprogram. It went flawlessly. Word to the wise- get original parts and you won't have any problems! Fast shipping. I bought a couple of these for our '98 Expedition and 2000 Explorer, after being burned buying some cheaper keys from Amazon. I only had one key for the Explorer so I needed to do an erase & reprogram with free software called Forscan and an OBDlink EX. After my experience with the other keys I was very reluctant to erase all keys and the possibility of not being able to start it if programming the keys failed. No need to fear. Programming went flawlessly once I understood the process. If you're worried if these will program, don't be. Fast shipping too- ordered on Friday, delivered on Tuesday! 5 stars x3. I bought 2 of these keys for my 2001 Ford Expedition. I had them cut at a local locksmith and programmed the PATS system myself using software called Forscan. They worked perfect so if you are worried about cheap Chinese knockoff's don't be these are the real deal. They also have fast shipping so I would say I had a great experience!!!
