At last there is a time saving tool to remove the cylinder caps from Schlage, Weiser, Arrow, and Falcon Cylinders. This tool has been modified to accommodate the extended tailpiece for Schlage.

I was happy to see that this tool works good on the newer (Brass body) caps as well as the older (Cast body) caps. The quality of the tool is good. I heard from a youtube review that you don't want to drop it. If the teeth get bent they don't want to bend back. All I need to do now for my rekeying kit is put this tool in and take out the ones that don't work. (Posted on 6/20/2018)

Well made, heavy in the hand.
Be aware it is all of 2 1/2" in length

This tool works great on the newer and older caps. It also has a nice grip on it. It's hollow to allow for the tailpiece. The only thing is you don't want to drop it and bend the teeth, if they bend they don't bend back (I heard about this on a youtube review) I'm very happy with this tool. Time to put it in my rekey kit and take out the ones that don't work. (Posted on 6/11/2018)
