This is the best tool I have used to solve the problem of re-loading top pins. Nothing else comes close to how easy this makes it. Insert the tool from the rear, fitting the ball detent into the last pin chamber. From the front drop in a spring, it will fall into the "V" at the end of the tool and guide itself into the chamber. The pin goes next just the same way. Hold the pin down with a tool or pick and pushing the loader against the work table advance it until the detent finds the next chamber.Quality Price Value
With the positive click each time you can so easily index your spot. When you finish loading those first pins, push the loader all the way forward until it leaves the last pin chamber (5,6 or 7) open and drop your spring and pin there.
One big tip is *before* using a follower to remove the tool ROTATE the loader 90º. This is to move the V notch aside so as the loader travels it does not free a pin. I do this all in one motion. Rotate, meet a follower at the front and right through. Really clean.
This tool is one of those head-slappers. A "Why didn't anyone think of this before". Great tool!
