The book outlines in detail how the tool interacts with the lock, where the wafers are and are not, which way they move and which lever on the tool moves the wafer.

Knowing this information will help you to make the most of the Genuine Lishi 2-in-1 tools, as it not only makes the tools much easier to use, but also enables you to find the code and the remaining (missing) cuts.
