This set is not for the average Schlage lock. It is designed to be used on the Schalge Wafer Lock. You can recognize a Schlage Wafer Lock by looking into the lock's keyway. If the keyway looks like the key would be a "C" shaped, then there is a good chance that you are looking at a Schlage Wafer Lock. These picks are a must if you encounter a Schlage Wafer Lock because standard picks will not work on them.
