These are solid locks - easily rekeyable. They are provided with Schlage C compatible zero bitted, 6pin key blanks. You can easily repin them for use with your normal 5 pin Schlage SC house key, or 6 pin SC4 key. I especially appreciate the pinning window as it reduces the likelihood that you'll accidentally sproing the top pins and springs -- and it means you won't need a plug follower, the only tools you need for rekeying are the new bottom pins and a pair of tweezes (and a cross/philips screwdriver). Good quality for the price - would likely be easily snipped with 24" bolt cutters but that's a whole other issue. (Posted on 12/15/2017)Quality Price Value
