This set doesn't have smooth, stainless edges, but is still a nice set. Made of blacked spring steel. Basically, it is a low cost copy of some of the higher end U.S. make pick sets from HPC and Southord. It is also similar to the Majestic PXP-10.

The finish on these picks is atrocious; if you run your finger along the edge, you can feel every bump in between where the perforations were made so as to stamp the picks out of a sheet of metal; the rough edges get caught up on every edge imaginable, especially in small locks. However, if you are willing to do the finishing yourself with sandpaper or something of that nature, you can very likely turn this set from cheap cetal crap that looks like lock picks in to a very decent set of lock picks depending on how much time and elbow grease you want to put in to it. At the very least I'd highly recommend rounding off all of the edges if you want these to be remotely functional. However for the (sale?) Price of 12 bucks, you cant really complain. The fact that you can turn these in to decent picks with a little effort is more than you can say about a lot of cheap sets. The perfect assortment of picks, rakes, and three tension tools. The handles seemed somewhat petite until o used them. I opened two different house locks, a bicycle cable lock and a padlock easily,. Shipping and customer service are 5 star. I will buy more. (Posted on 6/6/2018)Quality Price Value
