Ordering Questions

The lock entry tools we offer are not for sale to the general public and are available for sale to professionals only! All other products are available to the general public.

We offer free "Standard Delivery" shipping when on orders over $99.00 within the US.  Some restrictions apply to locations outside the 48 contingous states.  Please use the Shipping Estimate tool on our shopping cart screen to see accurate shipping costs.

Shipping Method

- Domestic- "Best Way Delivery" and "First Priority - Best Way Delivery" orders are shipped by Ontrac, Priority Mail, FedEx Ground, or UPS Ground.  We will choose the fastest, most economically reasonable method of the 4 options.  "First Priority - Best Way Delivery" orders are processed and shipped before "Standard - Best Way" and "Free - Best Way" orders.
- International orders will be shipped by FedEx,  UPS, or Global Priority Mail as you choose.  In some location and with some item only UPS or FedEx are the only options available.  Global Priority Mail shipping in transit times depend on location, and your local customs office. The longest we have experienced was 6 weeks, buy most take a 3-10 days.  UPS and FedEx are fairly fast to any location.

We reserve the right to request "Signature Required" or "Adult Signature I.D Required" up on delivery.

Processing Time

In most cases we will ship your order in the same day is is received as long as received before 3:00PM M-F.  If there will be an excessive delay we will notify you by email or telephone. You will have the opportunity to change your order or cancel. Please note: When you request your order be shipped to an address other then the credit card billing address, there will be a delay with your order. 

Order Changes

If paying with a credit card or PayPal, once an order is placed it cannot be changed.  If it hasn't been processed yet, the order can be canceled and a new order can be placed reflecting the change.  If the order has already been processed the payment can be refunded, and a new order can be placed reflecting the change.  If the order has already shipped it can be returned.  

Package Markings

Q: Will "LockPicks.com" be on the return label."
A: Our return labels say "Brockhage Corporation" Customs descriptions will say "Tool Kit."

International Orders

How do I pay in US Dollars? We ship international orders almost every day. If you pay with credit card we will charge your credit card in US Dollars, and on your credit card statement the charge will appear in your local currency. If you don't have a credit card, you can pay with an Postal Money Order made out in US Dollars, Cash US Currency, or Wire Transfer. Postal Money Order can be bought at your local post office. Sometimes in some countries a Customs Fee is charges then the package is picked up from the post office or when it is delivered. Sometimes a local tax (GST or VAT) is also due.

Shortages, Damage, and Out of Box Defects

Shipment shortages, shipment damage, or product defects claims must be made within 10 days of receiving your shipment.

Return / Cancellation / Refund Policy

Effective February 5, 2016, returns will be accepted within 30 days of receiving shipment as long as the item is in new condition. We will refund (minus shipping cost of your original shipment) to the credit card used to make the purchase, or paypal account or will issue a  check (if you paid by check or money order) within 10 business day of the time we receive your return. Once used items are not returnable.  

Specific to Key Machines: once a key is cut, key machines not returnable for a full refund.  A restocking charge will apply.  The restocking charge will be determined according to the condition of the machine which cannot be determined until after the machine is inspected by our staff.  A typical restocking charge is 15-30% depending on condition of the machine.  It can be higher if parts and accessories are missing.  Please contact customer service to discuss your situation.  If you are upgrading to better machine, we normally are able to wave the restocking charge, depending on the condition of the machine.

Contact Customer Service for RMA number before making returns.  Books, Videos, CD-Rom's, and DVD's are not returnable unless defective.  If you paid via credit card it should take 1-4 weeks from the time we process your refund to the time your bank applies the credit back to your account. We wish this time was shorter, but have no control over this.

*Effective Oct. 20, 2005, if you receive a defective product from us call or email us at the following, 1-800-480-0875 (+1 408 437-0505) info@lockpicks.com . Do not return defective products without authorization. In most cases a new product will be sent to you or we will swap your defective item for a new one. Please note, once a key machine has made a cut on a key, it is no longer "new." If it is defective please call us. If the problem cannot be resolved, the key machine will have to be sent in for repair.

Order cancellations are possible but not guaranteed. If you request a cancelation and internally it is too late, please refuse the shipment and we will credit your card or issue a refund check when the items is returned to us.
