As long as it’s not deeply recessed into the door, you should be able to use the Gator Mortise Wrench (P/N MW053B) to quickly remove even the most stubborn mortise cylinder without damage. I tried using it instead of plaiers you need to hold and press middle hard for it to turn gave up and I used plaiers at the end. You must use it when there is no CG3 ring or protection plate. (Posted on 12/18/2016)Price Value Quality - works wellReview by Byron
