The plug spinner is, of course, one of the essential tools in the Locksmith's arsenal. It is as important as the lock picks because when a lock is accidently picked in the wrong direction (or when indeed it is the only direction the lock will pick) this tool saves you from having to re-pick.The Rytan model has a nice feel to it and it is super reliable. The blades are replaceable and they are very easy to install. After spinning a few dozen locks these stainless steel blades tend to stay twisted and over time this cuts down on the efficiency of the tool. So it's a good idea to change blades when you see that the twist is becoming permanent.
