Tell Pro 800 Series Grade 1 Heavy Duty Door Closer - Adjustable 1-6, Full Cover - Duro Finish

Tell's 800 Series part 15816 is a full-cover, Grade 1 surface closer with a cast aluminum body, finished in Duro. Spring power adjusts anywhere from size 1 to 6, so one model handles most interior and exterior commercial doors.

Mounting is non-handed for regular arm, top jamb or parallel arm. Tell lists the parallel arm bracket, sex nuts and backcheck as standard, and the box includes metal screws, wood screws and thru-bolts. The forged steel arm accommodates reveals up to 3-1/4".

It is a straightforward retrofit for Norton 8301/8501 closers: Tell matches their 12" x 3/4" four-hole pattern. A friction hold-open arm (DC100428, aluminum) is offered separately.

Fire doors: Tell lists the closer UL/ULC for fire doors up to 3 hours and rates it to 2,000,000 cycles under ANSI A156.4 Grade 1. Hold-open arms are not for use on fire-rated doors. Meets ADA per Tell.
