Tell Pro 600 Series Grade 1 Heavy Duty Door Closer - Adjustable 3-6, No Cover - Duro Finish

Tell's 600 Series part 15640 is the exterior, no-cover version of their Grade 1 cast aluminum closer, finished in Duro. Spring power adjusts from size 3 to 6, which suits heavier doors and openings that face the weather.

It is non-handed and packed as a tri-pack, so the same box covers regular arm, top jamb and parallel arm installs. The arm is forged steel, and parallel arm bracket and backcheck are listed as standard by Tell. Through-bolts are optional.

Swapping out an old Norton 1601? Tell uses the same 9-1/16" x 3/4" hole pattern. No cover comes with this unit; Tell sells the 600 Series cover separately (DC100102 aluminum, DC100103 Duro).

Fire doors: Tell lists the closer UL/ULC for fire doors up to 3 hours and rates it to 2,000,000 cycles under ANSI A156.4 Grade 1. Hold-open arms are not for use on fire-rated doors. Meets ADA per Tell.
