Tell Pro LC2600 Series Grade 2 Cortland Institution Lever Lock - US26D Finish
A double-keyed function where both sides of the door stay locked. Tell's LC2687 CTL is the institution function of the LC2600 Cortland family: an ANSI Grade 2 cylindrical lever lock in US26D satin chrome, cycle-tested to 400,000 operations and made to drop into a standard 161 prep.
How it works: Both levers are fixed (locked) at all times. A key in either lever retracts the latch, so passage in either direction is by key only. There is no free exit.
The standard cylinder is a 6-pin solid brass Schlage C keyway (SCC) that can be pinned down to 5-pin, so it can be rekeyed into an existing C-keyway system. Tell packs two nickel silver keys per cylinder. Egress caution: because this function has no free exit, building and life-safety codes (for example NFPA 101 and the IBC) restrict where it can go. Get approval from your local code official or Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) before you install it.
Good fit for supervised facilities such as medication rooms and secure areas where occupants must not exit without staff, where code allows it.
