Be careful when shopping Semi-Automatic key duplicators.  To be Semi-Automatic it must have a spring mechanism that holds the key carriage against cutter and guide. This is what makes it Semi-Automatic.  There are machines on the market claiming to be "Semi-Automatic," but truly, they are simply Lever Operated machines with no spring mechanism.  All the Semi-Automatic machines we offer are truly Semi-Automatic with both spring and lever.

The HPC Trace-A-Key® is a semi-automatic duplicator designed to be the fastest, most accurate and most dependable duplicator available. This semi-automatic key duplicator is loaded with must-have features. The spring-loaded carriage assures consistent duplication, and the expansive range allows for the cutting of longer automotive keys. Its high-performance motor for trouble free cutting is available in 120VAC, 240VAC or AC/DC (120VAC/12VDC). Plus it has a Softie™ Brush made with carbide impregnated Tylon-X bristles that swiftly de-burrs keys. The double-sided jaws hold a wide variety of keys and the rugged single-casting construction makes it a very durable machine.

We recommend this machine if you need to duplicate a large number of standard commercial and industrial keys fast! The Trace-A-Key® is extremely accurate and will cut keys faster then any other machine we offer.

This semi-automatic key duplicator will not accommodate some large bow and remote head automotive keys. The Trace-A-Key® comes with 2-Way Jaws which means it will not accommodate some less popular keys. The Trace-A-Key® has a 90 day warranty.
